
RULES
General Rules
We support a “Respect Thy Neighbour” philosophy. All occupants and guests have a right to feel safe and secure with an element of privacy. Theft, harassment, verbal or physical abuse of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in eviction from the resort without refund.
- Pets are not permitted. We empathize with our members who have pet allergies and have strictly designated cottage as “pet free”.
- No littering (paper, pop cans, pull-tabs, cigarette buds, etc.). Please keep the cottage clean both inside and outside.
- No defacing cottages property in any way (writing on the walls, floors, ceilings, etc.)
- No destruction of any kind to the natural environment surrounding us (no peeling bark off of trees, no cutting any trees, etc.)
- No using shampoo or soap in the lake.
- All of our cottages are “non-smoking”. We ask you please refrain from smoking inside the cottages. If traces of cigarettes or smoke are found
in the cottage, the security deposit will not be refunded.
- For safety reasons, it is not permitted to burn candles in the cottage.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00 am. Keeping in mind things such as keeping the radio, television or stereo to a moderate and reasonable level at any time of your stay in the cottage.
- Anyone under the age of 16 must return to their site by 11:00 pm unless accompanied by an adult.
- Parents are expected to keep an eye on children at all times. Children should not be left unattended at the beach, playground or other areas of
the resort.
- The use of firearms, pellet guns, bows and fireworks are forbidden on the property.
Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of persons permitted at this cottage is 6.
Only two motorized vehicles are permitted on each site. Additional cars can be parked on the parking lot beside the head office. Failure to adhere to these maximums will result in either immediate eviction without refund, or a $100 per night /per day charge for each additional guest/vehicle.
Damage Deposits:
$500 security deposit is required on all cottage rentals and protects us as renters in the event that damage is done to our equipment. This deposit is fully refundable at the end of your stay upon inspection of the cottage. Any damages that occur by cottage renters or guests of the renters will result in an automatic loss of the security deposit.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservation you will be refunded fully, if 30 days advance notice is given. There is $150 Adminisartive Fee if you cancel less than 30 days from the day of your arrival. There is no refund for early departure.
Arriving at Bonnie Lake Resort
Upon arrival all guests are required to first check in at the head office. This is where you will obtain the key to your cottage, an entertainment schedule, resort map and all additional information available to you.

Visitors and Overnight Guests
Cottage renters are allowed to invite additional visitors provided their guests are fully aware of and prepared to follow the policies and regulations enforced at resort. Prior to your guests arriving please make arrangements with owners to inform of how many extra guests will be arriving. Our septic system can not accommodate the increased use created by a large number of visitors. Each cottage is designed to accommodate 6 people and only registered guests are permitted to overnight in the cottages. Two extra persons may be accommodated at night for additional charge of $50 per person per night. No exceptions -- extra persons includes babies and children. Visitors remaining in the Resort after 10pm are considered to be staying overnight.
Cottage Cleaning
The tenant is responsible for keeping property clean. At the end of rental the tenant must return cottage thoroughly clean and tidy. Cleaning supplies are under kitchen sink.
If the property requires additional cleaning following your departure, deductions will be made from your security deposit to cover the cost. We expect our guests to treat the cottages as they would treat their own homes, keeping the cottages clean and making sure any kitchen items used are washed, dried and returned to their appropriate cupboard space.
Garbage / Recycling:
Never leave garbage outside the cottage. All garbage must be removed from the property at the end of your rental period and placed in the bins behind the head office. Any garbage left at the cottage premises will result in a $50.00 disposal charge.
Washrooms & Septic System
Many cottages operate on a septic system which is very sensitive. The basic rule is DO NOT PUT ANYTHING down the toilet other than natural waste and toilet paper (and be conservative with the paper). For paper towels, Kleenex, tampons, pads, matches, hair, grease, etc. use trash can provided in the washrooms.
Barbecue
The cottage has a full size propane barbeque. A propane tank (+ extra tank) and a cleaning brush are provided. Please kindly brush the BBQ down after each use. Please do not burn any foreign materials in the BBQ. After each use, turn off both the BBQ On/Off and the tank valves.
Open Fires Rules
The campground is equipped with designated fire pit and only this fire pit may be used to hold a campfire. Except in designated areas, campfires are forbidden. Never leave fire and children unattended. Please put fire out before you leave. A campfire wood is available for sale in the head office. No live trees are to be cut down for firewood.
Linens/Bedding and other necessities
You will need to provide your own linens/bedding. Please bring your own pillow cases, sheets and blankets. Also, you will need to bring kitchen towels, bath towels and face cloths.
Personal Items
Please remember to take all of your personal items with you when you check out. If you leave something we will hold it for 2 weeks while you arrange to pick it up. We are not responsible for shipping forgotten items back to you.

FAMILY TIME
